I love looking into bits of your life. So beautiful! I am loving being outside too. For the first time in ten years we are spending everyday outside because the weather is beautiful. Not the sweltering mind numbing heat of the desert. I've been meditating on the movement of leaves, watching bees at work on lavender flowers, sewing, reading a million books to my girls, eating outside and watching fire flies.

What do you think of your Chemex coffee maker? I'm thinking of getting one myself (my little electric drip coffee maker is dying a slow death). They sure are beautiful.

We love it! The coffee is so smooth. I do love the flavor of french press.... that's what we had for years.... but I don't miss the sludge at the bottom of the cup. The only downfall to a chemex is that it cools quickly. I can reheat it on the gas stove pretty quickly though, and it doesn't get bitter when it cools so it makes excellent iced coffee. They sell a little metal accessory so you can reheat it on an electric stove too. And yes..... it is so pretty!
